Introduction to Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 is a subscription-based cloud service that is FREE to faculty and staff. This software provides Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, and OneDrive. The session will demonstrate how to access Office 365, explain the differences between locally installed and cloud-based programs. The session is a digital badge course that requires participants to log into their Office 365 account and create an active document to share with the instructor.
Instructor: Peg OHara is a technical trainer for the NOVA Academic Technology Services. She provides online and in-person support for programs such as Zoom conferencing and a variety of productivity tools. Peg started her career with the Fairfax County Public Schools system as high school biology, anatomy, and chemistry instructor. She spent the second half of her career working as an instructional technologist, introducing various software programs and their integration with instruction. She lives in the Northern Virginia area, loves dogs, and teaches spin classes.
