NOVA Student Receives Robotics Patent

NOVA student and inventor, Nicholas Reeves is an avid robotics enthusiast who was granted his first official patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). A portion of the inscription on his USPTO award reads:

Nicholas Reaves: Inventor, Robotic Interfaces

“A method of robotic collaboration, comprising: designating the first robot a lead robot; assigning a first task in a task area to the lead robot; broadcasting, from the lead robot, a work query in the task area to seek the presence of subordinate robots configured to perform tasks;”

Nicholas wen ton to attend and graduate from George Mason University. He works at Stilwell Technology and Robotics, LLC in Va. During a special presentation at a Prince William Chamber Education and Innovation Committee, Nicholas shared his excitement about the esteemed accomplishment he received at only 27 years old.
