Greetings from Alpha Dela Tau

The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society has over 100 years of tradition. Since the introduction of the All-State Academic Teams program in 1994, many NOVA students have become members of PTK. Our chapter, Alpha Delta Tau, is filled with high-achieving individuals who work eagerly towards their goals. And on the way there, we serve our communities by promoting useful topics and by organizing helpful events.

Last month, we were honored to host a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. This event turned out to be one of the most successful blood drive on our Woodbridge Campus. Thanks to our selfless blood donors, determined volunteers, and awesome faculty members, we were able to collect 33 blood units and help improve and save the lives of 26 potential patients. Many thanks from us to all who participated on this project.

March 20 is the International Earth Day and to honor it, we are promoting sustainability here at Woodbridge and through our social media. We are also happy to announce participation of Alpha Delta Tau at the 3D PARC Chaos Buffet on March 20 where we will be promoting PTK and sustainability.

We are grateful to our faculty and staff members for all the support that we are receiving when it comes to realization of our small but meaningful projects. We are looking forward to doing much more in the future.
