Rewards and Recognition Nominations Open. Awards up to $2000
Dear Colleagues:
We are pleased to announce that the nomination period for NOVA’s three Reward and Recognition Programs is now open. Through these programs, full‐time administrative and professional faculty, full‐time classified staff, and full‐time teaching faculty are eligible to receive monetary awards up to $2000.00 and recognition in the form of gift cards valued up to $75.00.

If you would like to nominate an Administrative or Professional Faculty member, please select one of the job domains and submit a statement of up to 500 words describing why you believe this person should receive a reward. Please describe why you believe this employee has exhibited exemplary performance.
If you would like to nominate a member of the Classified Staff, please submit a statement providing specific examples of ways in which the nominee has excelled in one or more of the following domains: performing assigned duties at an exceptional level, performing departmental duties beyond those assigned, and/or serving the college beyond the department. There is a 200‐word maximum per domain.
If you would like to nominate a Full‐time Teaching Faculty member, please select one of the job domains and submit a statement of up to 500 words describing why you believe this person should receive a reward or recognition. Please describe why you believe this person has exhibited exemplary performance.
Please submit your nomination(s) by close of business on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Nominations will be reviewed by three separate committees that have been selected by the College Senate and the Campus Forum Councils. The committees will make recommendations to the President. We encourage you to give concrete examples of your nominee’s accomplishments so that the committees can make informed decisions.
