Suit Up with us for the JCPenney Suit-Up Event

Join us as a staff/faculty volunteer at the JCPenney Suit-Up Event, a night of exclusive discounts on career apparel and accessories for NOVA students and their families!

NOVA’s Corporate and Workforce Engagement Career Services are excited to announce that we have teamed up with JCPenney in two Northern Virginia locations to allow NOVA students to shop and receive an extra 30% off of select men’s and women’s career dress apparel, shoes, and accessories, and up to 60% off of items already on sale or marked down. NOVA students and family will have select access to the Springfield Town Center JCPenney and Fair Oaks Mall JCPenney on Sunday, March 29 from 6:00-9:00pm to allow NOVA students to shop extremely affordable prices in an environment that will support them.

Expert JCPenney staff will be on-site to provide professional clothing consultation, answer questions, and size and measure students to ensure their best clothing fit. Our goal is to give students the confidence they need to be successful from their initial interviews to their first day on the job.

We are recruiting staff and faculty volunteers to help at the event with student check-in, assisting store employees with sizing and selecting professional attire for students, and providing general information to attendees. Volunteers will receive the same discounts as students and be given time to shop for themselves. We are grateful for any help you can offer, but we are particularly in need of volunteers for the 7:30pm – 9:00pm shift (or stay the whole evening!).
