NOVA LMI Career Ladder Reports Available

NOVA Labor Market Information (LMI)  has created a suite of free online resources for students, faculty, staff, and community members to learn more about the northern Virginia job market. Our career ladder tools highlight available jobs by their education requirements for the region. Our website features six career ladders: Information Technology (IT), Business and Finance, Health Care, STEM, Public Administration, and Hospitality and Tourism. Each ladder features three different pathways for that particular industry; for example, the IT ladder shows career opportunities in the fields of software development, cybersecurity, and data.

Each step of the career ladder lists the jobs associated with that pathway along with details such as:

• Education level
• Entry-level or average salary 
• Number of job openings in the region over the last 12 months.

Additionally, each career ladder has an accompanying occupation report which can be found in the “Workforce Briefs” section of the website. All of our career ladders are available for download here.
