NOVA Alexandria Virtual Career Fair

At this challenging time, there are students due to complete their academic programs this semester and preparing to enter the workforce. There are also continuing students currently seeking employment who have expressed losing their jobs due to the impact of COVID-19.

Our response: The Virtual Career Fair.  This event provides students an opportunity to learn about current employment openings. Students can also use this as a career exploration activity to learn about various jobs and employers. Please consider referring students to the NOVA Alexandria Virtual Career Fair held this Friday, April 3rd from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Faculty and staff are also welcome to attend and engage with employers and students.
This event will not be physically held at the Alexandria Campus but will be held virtually using Zoom. Participants will need access to the internet and a computer with audio. If they do not have either, a phone number will be provided where they can call in to participate.

There will be 30-minute sessions offered by each participating organization. Please view the pre-registration link below to view employers and sessions, which include: ROCS Grad Staffing, Dominion Waiver Services, National Captioning Institute, Metropolitan Healthcare Services, the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Army.
