Kudos to the IT Helpdesk Staff!

Kudos to the entire Help Desk team who muscled through last weekend’s issues with VCCS connectivity. Starting Friday afternoon and lasting into Monday, VCCS had intermittent network and system outages that affected all NOVA users. Our Help Desk team was able to quickly respond to the surge in calls by adding agents who were on standby. Here are some statistics from last weekend:

  • Over 750 calls came in Friday afternoon 2.5-hours period
  • Roughly 300 calls came in early Saturday morning between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
  • In total, over 1,500 calls were received between 3 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Monday (normal call volume during this time period averages 340 calls)
