Fall Registration Open: Encourage Your Nighthawks to Take Flight!
The following information was sent to all students from the Vice President of Student Services on Monday. Please keep it close at hand to share with your students as needed.
Registration for fall 2020 courses is now open! Classes start August 24. Beginning in the fall 2020 semester, NOVA will change to a standard 15-week session instead of a 16-week session. Eight- and five-week sessions will also be offered. Click here for course selections.
We know that you have questions about fall semester. Please know NOVA is assessing the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on fall operations. We’re hoping to welcome you back to campus in August–with appropriate social distancing–but we are also prepared to deliver courses remotely if needed. The most important thing to know is we will continue to put your health and well-being first in our decision-making.
We also know that the pandemic may have impacted your financial situation. Affordable tuition payment plans can be found by clicking here and you should consider attending one of the financial aid workshops offered. NOVA will also be hosting a full week of financial aid information, including FAFSA completion workshops, beginning May 11.
And, don’t forget! Summer 2020 registration is still open! Following the guidance of the CDC and Governor Northam’s Stay-At-Home order, NOVA will continue to operate remotely this summer. Summer classes begin on May 18. Click here for course selections.
We are here to help and support you!
We’ve developed a step-by-step guide to help you prepare for the next semester. Click here https://www.nvcc.edu/admissions/current-students.html for the guide. Need help with your classes during remote learning? Click here for a list of resources.
