As we end the first week of fall registration, the Office of Academic Affairs would like to make you aware of a few resources that are available to assist you as you work with and advise students.

People often have questions related to Academic Affairs and don’t know whom to ask for answers. You should always start with your supervisor, as he/she often receives informational updates. However, if you still need assistance and do not know whom to ask, please email academics@nvcc.edu and your question will be routed accordingly.
NOTE: this email address is for faculty and staff only and should not be given to students. Feel free to continue contacting our individual staff. This email can be used for the following topics:
• Transfer questions (including pathways)
• ADVANCE
• SIS advising reports
• Curriculum questions (course prerequisites, course content summaries, general education)
• College Catalog
• Credit for Prior Learning
• Submission of discipline group and pathway council minutes

• Updates for Forms that begin with the number ‘125’

Monthly newsletter
We’ve begun a monthly newsletter to provide the latest on the information and activities managed by our office. This is a great way to keep up with the fast pace of updates. Once you accept enrollment, make sure to turn on notifications so you will know when we add information to the site.
