New ADVANCE Pathways Available for 2020-2021

The 2020-2021 ADVANCE transfer pathways are now available on the ADVANCE website. As a reminder, ADVANCE is a transfer partnership between NOVA and George Mason University with defined curricular pathways in almost 100 majors with targeted, personalized support for students to complete their bachelor’s degrees in a timely manner.

In addition to the pathways that were available last year, we have added six new pathways, including the following:

  • A.A. Liberal Arts: English Specialization to B.A. English
  • A.A. Liberal Arts: English Specialization to B.F.A. Creative Writing
  • A.S. Computer Science to B.S. Computer Science
  • A.S. Information Technology to B.S. Information Technology
  • A.A.S. Information Systems Technology: Cloud Computing Specialization to B.A.S. Applied Sciences – Cloud Computing Concentration
  • A.S. Science to B.S. Atmospheric Sciences.

Two pathways were discontinued: B.A.S. in Legal Studies and B.A.S. in Human Development & Family Science (note: the B.A. in Human Development & Family Science remains a pathway).

We are currently reviewing ADVANCE applications for fall 2020. The priority deadline for fall 2020 is July 15. See eligibility criteria Here.
