Close Spring 2020 Canvas Courses to Prevent Access

Spring 2020 courses will not be concluded until December 2020. That means unless you conclude them manually, students will have full access to your course and materials. They can also submit assignments and take quizzes that have not been closed.

To prevent that access, please follow the directions here: Closing Courses at the End of the Semester

Note that students who have been given Incompletes in SIS will continue to have access to your course even after it has closed. This process is done automatically as soon as the “I” grade is entered in SIS.
