NOVA Daily Flyer to go to Monday/Thursday Schedule for Summer

NOVA Daily Flyer will begin a twice-weekly publication schedule to run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We will publish on Monday and Thursday of each week. Because of the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 25, we will have just one edition next week.

Please keep your great stories coming through the summer! NOVA will still be operating remotely for the most part, and it is important for us to remain connected and know what our colleagues and friends are up to.

Keep us in mind and submit the NOVA-related topics you would want to read about! This would include stories about outstanding faculty or staff who have published, received awards or recognition inside or outside NOVA, those with unique teaching methods or those who have seen great results from the unconventional or unusual. Of course, we always want to hear about our student Nighthawks! Please submit any compelling stories of students or alumni who have accomplished exceptional things or overcome great odds to realize their dream of higher education. Also, send updates on team accomplishments, student life activities, etc.

Please submit your stories using the “Submit A Story” button at the bottom of any Daily Flyer edition. Any photos submitted to accompany stories should be cleared for use with a proper photo release available if requested. All photos should be high resolution (minimum of 1MB).

All stories should be submitted by 3 p.m., Thursday for Monday’s edition, and 3 p.m., Tuesday for Thursday’s edition. (Please note, Monday, May 25 is a holiday, and there will not be an edition on that date.)
