TODAY, 9 a.m.! Dr. Kress to be Panelist on National Press Club Virtual Newsmaker Event on COVID-19
The National Press Club will host a 75-minute panel discussion today at 9 a.m. with education leaders representing schools around the country. Dr. Kress will offer leadership insights into the protocols and best practices that NOVA has taken to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic and how the college has upheld its commitment to student success as the nation’s second largest community college abruptly switched from in-class to remote learning and telework.
The panel of educators will discuss how schools and universities are responding to the coronavirus crisis and how they are preparing for all possible scenarios for fall. Can they open schools in a way that protects the health and safety of students and school staff? What lessons have they learned about communicating with their many stakeholders during this unprecedented health crisis?
Panelists include:

Anne M. Kress, president, Northern Virginia Community College
