Academic Affairs Transfer Webinar Series

NOVA’s Academic Affairs Office is hosting a webinar series for NOVA faculty and staff on several transfer-related topics. For those who cannot join, these recordings will be posted to the Academic Affairs Canvas Site. We will offer these webinars again just before the beginning of the fall 2020 semester. You must register for each webinar you want to attend using the registration links below or via the links included in our Flyer.

• Transfer Virginia Webinar: During this webinar, we will provide updates on work related to Transfer Virginia, including passport courses, course development, transfer portal, transfer maps, and impacts of COVID-19 changes. Offered on Thursday, June 4th from 2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Transfer Pathways Webinar: During this webinar, we will walk participants through the NOVA transfer pathways that are available for 2020-2021. More specifically, we will review the transfer pathways website and how to read the transfer pathways advising sheets and conduct a demonstration of how students will see the transfer pathways in Navigate. Offered Tuesday, June 2nd from 2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• ADVANCE 2020-2021 Updates Webinar: During this webinar, we will provide a brief overview of ADVANCE and review updates for the 2020-2021 ADVANCE program, including: New pathways and other curricular changes, updates on ADVANCE policies, and impacts of changes brought about in response to COVID-19. Offered Wednesday, June 3rd from 2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
