NOVA Creates Community Partnership Pledge Because #YouMatterToNOVA

As NOVA begins the process of partially reopening campuses for those classes that must meet in person, we will, as a community, need to remain vigilant to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. NOVA has created a Community Partnership Pledge that should be read and adhered to by all members of the NOVA community, just so we’re all clear on what we need to do to stay safe and to keep those with whom we come in contact safe as well. The pledge also addresses the responsibilities of those who remain in a remote teaching and learning environment as well.

The pledge reads “Together as faculty, staff and students, we pledge to take responsibility for our health and protect others by keeping the NOVA community safe from the spread of COVID-19.” It then outlines the responsibilities the College will take, the responsibilities the individual community member will take and those we will take together.

Despite how much information we have heard in the last months, it is important to be well versed on needed precautions and to understand our part in keeping NOVA safe.
