August 13, 2020 / General NOVA News

2020-2021 Transfer Pathways will be available August 14th by clicking Here. Pathways are available for the following universities:

  • George Mason University
  • James Madison University
  • Marymount University
  • Mary Washington University
  • Virginia Commonwealth University
  • Additional pathways for Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech will be available soon.

To find a pathway, please use the following instructions:

  1. Select 2020-2021;
  2. Select a transfer institution from the drop-down menu and then a bachelor’s degree program for that institution;
  3. Once a program is selected, this will bring up a list of NOVA courses the student should take that align with that degree program.

Information in the transfer pathways is provided as guidance only. We do everything possible to prevent errors in this tool, however, academic requirements are subject to change. We continuously advise students to speak with a NOVA counselor or advisor each semester and to consult directly with representatives from the four-year institution they hope to attend.

There are many factors that contribute to the development of these pathways. While this process is still fairly new and very complex we continue to collaborate with our transfer partners to ensure these guides give the best information possible. A special thank you to the many individuals involved with the creation of these resources, which are designed to support our students.

If you have any questions about the pathways, please email the Academic Affairs staff at academics@nvcc.edu.
