Night of Science Presents Microbes & You: A Primer on the Immune System, Aug. 29
With the current pandemic, there is so much information out there with little background. There have been way too many cringe-worthy news stories put forward. As part of the Night of Science program Karen Bushaw-Newton (Biology, AN) will present a 30- to 45-minute lecture via ZOOM that will explain the basic concepts of our immune system and also SARS-CoV-2 and other microbes of note. If there is interest in this, we might do other lectures on similar topics.
This will be family friendly, for 6th grade and above. Please register in advance and you will receive a Zoom link and password in an e-mail.
If you cannot access the QR code via the flyer, here is the direct link to Register.
