Accessing NOVANet, NOVA’s New(ish) Intranet
NOVA’s intranet is loaded with information just for NOVA’s faculty and staff! Feel free to go in and poke around a bit. The intranet is simple. Employees can access it from https://intranet.nvcc.edu. You’ll be prompted to enter your NOVA credentials on a gated page.
Right now, the intranet is sectioned out into these areas:
- Admin & Governance
- Faculty & Staff (this actually just goes to https://www.nvcc.edu/faculty-staff/index.html)
- Academics
- Campuses
- Services
Links to the intranet are woven through NVCC.edu for content that has been moved over in recent months. People have been interacting with the intranet by default through those links.
Also available in NOVANet is the ability recognize the great work of your colleagues through NOVAfy, NOVA’s own e-card recognition program that provides faculty and staff with a way to recognize, encourage and/or thank each other. NOVAfy is a fun way to celebrate the work we all do every day that impacts our students and others we work with. Use NOVAfy to recognize an employee whom you noticed doing something positive–excellent work, exceptional service or efforts above and beyond that had a positive impact on a fellow employee or student.
