Hot Soup, Coffee and Community

As soon as the chillier days of fall start to settle in, my meal plans turn to soup. So, as the recipe focus for this fall’s NOVA recipe round-up, I’m putting out a call for your favorite, tried and true soup recipes. Maybe it’s the best chicken noodle soup (which, according to Campbell’s, is its top seller). Maybe it’s the perfect tomato soup to pair with grilled cheese sandwiches. Help all of us fill our bowls this fall with your favorite soups. Send your recipes to me by October 16. Again, I’ll pull the name of one entrant to receive a gift: this time, a set of homemade potholders.

And, following up to last week’s Monday Message, this week’s first Coffee Chat will be this Wednesday, Oct. 7, 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Again, the first 24 employees to send me an email at PresidentsOffice@nvcc.edu will be sent the link for the chat.
