Dr. Bo Yang to Present at Online Teaching Webinar

October 30, 2020 / Faculty/Staff Highlights

In an online learning environment, faculty usually face more challenges to engage students in hybrid and online courses. Compared to face-to-face courses, both faculty and students may find it difficult to interact and collaborate in the online learning environment. As the college switched to remote teaching this semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more faculty may have experienced such challenges. What does meaningful integration of technology in teaching look like? How can faculty get started with some new ideas to innovate learning activities to engage students? At a webinar NOVA Online sponsors to promote best practices in hybrid and online teaching, Dr. Bo Yang is going to share “Pedagogical Strategies: Integrating Instructional Technology to Engage Students in Hybrid and Online Learning” from 11:00 a.m. – Noon on Friday, Nov. 6. This is a great professional development opportunity for faculty, especially those who are teaching hybrid and online courses.
