Free Webinar on Managing Post-Election Stress, Nov. 6
The Office of Wellness and Mental Health (OWMH) recognizes that election season has been emotionally taxing for us all, regardless of political affiliation. Combining current issues with racial discourse, calls for police reform, economic concerns, and uncertainty about life during and after the pandemic, many feel stressed and unsure of where to turn. Therefore, OWMH has identified the need for processing and continued open dialogue and is sharing this free NaBITA webinar for faculty and staff.
“Managing Post-Election Stress” is a casual, conversational session that is open to the public. Per host, NaBITA President Brian Van Brunt, Ed.D, “Whatever way the election concludes, one thing is for sure, it will cause a great deal of stress for our students, faculty and staff.”
Dr. Van Brunt and David Denino will host this discussion, focusing on the new “normal” we are working to establish after the 2020 election cycle. The webinar is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Register Here.
This session will be recorded. If you would like to attend, but do not wish to have your identifying information displayed, please contact NaBITA at info@nabita.org. Contact The Office of Wellness and Mental Health with any questions at wellness@nvcc.edu.
