Final Annandale Lyceum Justice and Equity Series Event, Nov. 19
For its final fall 2020 Semester Lunch and Learn Justice and Equity Series, the Annandale Campus Lyceum Committee will host Audrey Davis, Director of the Alexandria Black History Museum. The event will be held on Thursday, November 19 at 12:30 p.m. Ms. Davis will present on “Alexandria’s Community Remembrance Project: Acknowledging a City’s Lynching History.”
Registration is required in advance for this virtual presentation. Registration information can be found on the Lyceum Committee Blog. Once registered, a confirmation e-mail will be sent containing the Zoom link to join the presentation.
Audrey Davis is a former president of the Alexandria Historical Society and past president of the Virginia Association of Museums. A career museum administrator, she is a founding and current member of the Advisory Council of Virginia Africana.
The Lyceum virtual Lunch and Learn Justice and Equity Series presentations are open to faculty, staff, students and anyone else who wishes to register for any of them. This is the final Lyceum speech of the Fall 2020 Semester.
