2020 CVC to Run Through Dec. 18

This year’s Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign will continue through December 18. NOVA employees can make designated gifts and contributions to the more than 1,000 charitable organizations. As you consider participating in the campaign to help strengthen our community, please consider our own NVCC Educational Foundation, which accepts tax-deductible donations directly on behalf of NOVA.

The Foundation is the only non-profit organization dedicated to securing private resources to support Northern Virginia Community College. Funds raised by the Foundation support scholarships and emergency grants for NOVA students, as well as programs for faculty and staff through means that are simply not possible with state funds alone. Today’s economic realities make the Foundation’s work securing private donations more important than ever. Since March 2020, the Foundation has awarded $743,000 in emergency grants directly to NOVA students to help them through the pandemic. Please visit the Foundation webpage to learn more.
