New Virtual Permits From Parking Services
Effective Spring 2021, Parking Services will begin using virtual permits for students, part-time employees and contractors. Your License Plate Is Your Parking Permit!
Under the new virtual system, the permit holder’s license plate acts as the permit—there is no more forgetting to hang your tag, no more waiting for your permit to arrive in the mail and no replacement fees to pay.
With virtual permits, you will now be able to order your permit online and use it immediately without waiting for it to arrive in the mail! The license plate(s) provided when purchasing the permit will be the virtual parking permit, and it will be valid as soon as the transaction is complete.
Since each vehicle’s license plate is used as the parking permit, license plates must be appropriately registered to avoid being issued a citation. Errors in license plate registration are the responsibility of the customer.
Up to three vehicles can be linked to each permit; however, only one vehicle can park on College property at any given time. If more than one vehicle is found at the College without the purchase of an additional permit, both vehicles may receive a citation.
