NOVA’s Braden Center to Host “Getting Through Finals Together,” Dec. 9
Whether it’s the NBA Finals or college final exams, big moments can bring lots of pressure and stress. But don’t worry, together we can break down the full court press!
Please join the NOVA Dr. Jean Braden Center for Women, Gender and Social Equity and the NOVA Office of Wellness and Mental Health for a de-stress session on getting through finals and learning about what resources are available that could help you during the exam period and afterwards. Our speakers will share strategies, stories and positive habits for success during these tough times.
Speakers include:
- Head Coach Al Ford, men’s varsity basketball team, Wakefield High School
- Ms. Judy Robinson, counselor (2003-2014), Fairfax County Public Schools
- Dr. Cynthia Pascal, NOVA interim associate vice president for student support and Title IX coordinator
The session will take place Wednesday, December 9, at 4 p.m.
