NOVA Offers Sweet Farewell on Passing of Bill Turner, Assoc. Director of Operations

It is with great sorrow we share the passing of a team member at NOVA, Bill Turner. In March 2016, Bill joined NOVA in the Facilities Department as a part-time operations coordinator, managing over 60 facilities service contracts. Then in June 2017, Bill was promoted to associate director, operations, a position he held until his passing on October 31. 

Bill had great expertise and was well respected at NOVA and in the system office. He took tremendous pride in the work he accomplished at NOVA and was always up for any challenge. Bill made the art of building friendships look easy. He mastered the ability to pick someone up if he noticed they looked down; and he often had a chocolate or mint in his pocket ready to share to sweeten the deal. We have lost a dear friend and comrade-in-arms.
