REV Update and Thanks from the President

As of Tuesday, Dec. 15, more than 1,000 students have enrolled in NOVA credit and FastForward programs, receiving almost $1.8M in Re-Employing Virginians (REV) tuition vouchers. The last day for students to enroll under REV was Dec. 14. Getting to this point in such a short period of time required an extraordinary effort, and I send a huge thank you to all of you who emailed, called and supported our REV applicants, especially our fearless and tireless REV leader, Tykesha Myrick! The students seeking REV vouchers are facing significant and sometimes heartbreaking financial challenges due to the pandemic, and each of you lived our NOVA commitment to empathy in working above and beyond to connect them to new futures, finding every possible way to help them move forward. You have made a difference, and on behalf of our new REV students and our college, I am grateful for the care and compassion you have shown.
