Save the Date: ODU Faculty Summer Conference, May 18

January 20, 2021 / Events

Old Dominion University’s Center for Learning and Teaching is bringing back its Faculty Summer Conference for 2021, and it is extending an invitation to faculty and staff members at NOVA and other Virginia community colleges to participate. This 2021 Conference will be held virtually via Zoom on May 18.

The 2020 conference was cancelled due to the pandemic, but its theme, “Transforming the Online Student Learning Experience,” will be revived for the 2021 conference. This subject is more timely than ever and the 2021 conference will be open to all student-facing faculty and staff, not just teaching faculty.

Hosts, presenters and guests will explore the best ways to engage online students and promote their success. Topics include planning, organizing, developing and delivering an effective online or hybrid course.
