Today! Supporting Our Students of Color
The Office of Wellness and Mental Health (OWMH) has compiled a list of free training opportunities for NOVA faculty and staff. To support the development of NOVA’s culture of care, OWMH aims to provide increased options for the growth of skills related to spotting the signs of student distress, and available resources to support student wellness. Additionally, OWMH seeks to support and encourage the wellness of NOVA staff and faculty. Making it a priority to acknowledge the needs of members of the NOVA community is a team effort and serves the goals of prevention and early intervention. These trainings are both on-demand (view as you go) and live via web video, and registration may be required. More trainings will be shared as they become available.
Please contact the Office of Wellness and Mental Health at wellness@nvcc.edu with any questions or trainings you are aware of that can be shared.
