*Michael Birchett is the Director of Financial Aid Counseling and Outreach for the University of Kentucky. Michael has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Georgetown College and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Kentucky. Michael currently serves on the boards of the Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. He also served as the President of the Board of Directors for AVOL Kentucky, a non-profit organization serving over 70 counties in Kentucky by providing housing, support, testing, and prevention services for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.
