Adjunct Roundtable a Resounding Success
On Saturday, Jan. 23, NOVA’s Council of Academic Associate Deans (CAAD) hosted the Adjunct Professional Development Roundtable. The event consisted of 12 interactive discussions that allowed faculty to connect, share best practices and recharge for a successful spring 2021 semester. More than 100 faculty were in attendance in both of two concurrent sessions.
The planning committee received overwhelmingly positive comments, and participants said they found the discussion sessions to be helpful, informative and that group brainstorming was a great way to foster camaraderie during this remote work environment.
