Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation Offers Two Scholarships for NOVA Students

Please share with your students two scholarship opportunities. The scholarship application portal is open now and will close on March 14, 2021.

Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation has been an important donor and advocate for NOVA for many years. The NWFCU Foundation provides financial support for Student Emergency Grant programs on the AL, LO and MA Campuses. This year, they have opened two of their internal scholarship programs to students on ALL NOVA campuses: 

• Need-Based Scholarships to assist students with serious financial hardship and very limited resources in their pursuit of a college education. Amount of scholarship award is $5,000.  Applicants must apply for a NWFCU bank account prior to completing the application and have a letter of recommendation from NOVA.  This letter can be from the campus financial aid officer. All applicants MUST use this link to apply.
• Career and Technical Education (CTE) scholarships are $2,500.  In order to apply for a CTE scholarship, an individual must have applied for a NWFCU bank account and have a letter of recommendation from NOVA.  This letter can be from the campus financial aid officer.
