Enjoy the Current Edition of Transfer Talk

The first positive steps our students will make when engaging with our transfer partners is applying by the priority transfer application deadlines, often March 1. Be sure that you may see some anxious students trying to get their applications in good order over the next week or so. You might have also been asked to write a letter of recommendation or two, and if you know the student well, your kind words may help them to achieve their goals. The lead article in this week’s edition of Transfer Talk profiles a young lady who was encouraged by our faculty. That maxim by Ralph Waldo Emerson is true: “Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”
