The annual calendar of “days of” includes several related to kindness: Random Acts of Kindness Day was last week, World Kindness Day is in November and there are as many different Days of Caring as there are communities.

Today, I write to encourage you to make each day a NOVA Day of Kindness, and I challenge you to send one NOVAfy thank you, congratulations or pick-me-up each day to a deserving colleague. The system makes it quick and easy, and our college has no shortage of amazing, dedicated folks. Just login to NOVAnet, our College intranet, and look for the NOVAfy link.

It only takes a few minutes to be that rainbow in what might otherwise be a cloudy day; so let’s turn this chilly winter into an early spring by sending some warm and kind thoughts to our valued colleagues. Thank you for all you do to make NOVA bold, bright, caring and kind!
