Alert Your Students of Health Sciences, Nursing Career Fair, March 4
Faculty, please inform your students of NOVA’s 2021 Healthcare Virtual Career Fair, hosted by the Medical Education Campus. The virtual fair will take place on Thursday, March 4, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Career Connection. Students and alumni that are interested in healthcare careers will be able to connect with employers through 1-on-1 video meetings and group video chats.
Students can get started by registering to attend the fair on the Career Connection event page and viewing the list of attending employers. Remember to keep checking back, as the list is frequently updated. Click the Attend button to complete your video chat profile and upload your resume. Students should be aware that their resume, email address and academic program will be shown to employers at the event if they hit Attend. Uploading your resume is optional, and you can return at a later date to upload or update it. Employers attending the event will have access to the resumes of registered students up to two weeks before the event begins so be sure to upload a well-written resume to get the most access to all employers.
Consider attending the following events to prepare for the fair:
- A live training session with the Career Connection staff to learn how to use Career Connection’s virtual career fair tool. RSVP through these links. You will be prompted to login to Career Connection first. If you cannot attend a live training, check the Career Connection Resource Library after the trainings to view a recording.
Career Connection Training: How to use the Virtual Career Fair Tool – Mon., 3/1, 3-4pm EST - A Virtual Resume Workshop with the Career Engineer
- A Virtual Interviewing Workshop with the Career Engineer
- Schedule an appointment with the NOVA Writing Center to get your resume reviewed
Please feel free to reach out to the Career Connection team with any questions about the event
