NOVA’s Rewards and Recognition Program Now Available

The college is pleased to announce the rewards and recognition program for NOVA employees, which now has two distinct components. 

REWARDS

The rewards program is a nomination-based program that provides awards up to $2,000 for full-time teaching faculty, full-time administrative and professional faculty, full-time classified staff and (new this year) adjunct faculty. Nominations will be reviewed by four separate committees that have been selected by the College Senate and the Forum Councils. The committees will review nominations and make recommendations. Nominations must show how the employee has exhibited exemplary performance. We encourage you to provide clear and concrete examples of your nominee’s accomplishments so that the committees can make informed decisions. Supervisors will have the opportunity to provide input on nominations of their employees.

Nominations are due by Friday, March 12, 2021.

To nominate a NOVA employee, please CLICK HERE and use your MyNOVA credentials to log in.  On your first login, you will be prompted to review and accept the Acceptable Use Terms of Agreement prior to being redirected to the form.

RECOGNITION

NOVAfy is the new e-card recognition program that provides faculty and staff with a way to recognize, encourage and/or thank each other. NOVAfy is a fun way to celebrate the work we all do every day that impacts our students. Use NOVAfy to recognize another employee who you noticed doing something positive–fine work, exceptional service or effort above and beyond that had a positive impact on a fellow employee or student. NOVAfy can be accessed through NOVANet (NOVA’s Intranet) using your NVCC login credentials.
