Coming Soon to Annandale Cafeteria!

In July of 2020, NOVA signed with a new food vendor for the Annandale Campus. When we return to full campus operations, Surefire Catering will provide a wide-ranging selection of freshly-prepared foods and will incorporate items for special dietary needs, such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut allergies.

To respond to the request – “how can I get this delectable food on campus now (especially when I can smell the barbecue smoker)?” – we have worked with Surefire to offer a limited, carry-out menu on Thursdays starting March 18. This will be available by pre-order only through the Toast App, just look for “Surefire Cafe NVCC Annandale Campus.”

The menu will rotate weekly and will usually offer a pre-prepared box meal, an entree salad, and a sandwich. Orders must be submitted through the Toast App by Tuesday for pick up in the Annandale Cafeteria on Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Also available daily through the app are frozen, boil-in-bag barbecue packs. These are delicious smoked or barbecued meats and typical offerings are pulled pork, pulled chicken, barbecue ribs, and smoked turkey. Coupled with sides from your home, these will typically feed 2-4 people (depending on how hungry you are).
