Annandale Lyceum Presents World Autism Day Speech, April 1
The Annandale Lyceum Committee hosts a virtual World Autism Day Speech entitled “Neurodiversity: Reframing Disability as Diversity” at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 1. This is the final presentation of the 2021 Spring Semester Lunch and Learn Sessions via Zoom.
Presented by Rachna Sizemore Heizer, an attorney, disability advocate, college professor, and at-large member of the Fairfax County School Board, the presentation will address redefining normal and reframing disability as diversity.
Ms. Heizer has served on numerous community boards and spent over 12 years as a disability justice advocate, working with state and federal officials on education policy and criminal justice issues.

Registration is required in advance for each presentation and a confirmation e-mail will then be sent containing the link to join the presentation.
The Lunch and Learn Sessions via Zoom are open to faculty, staff, students, and anyone else who wishes to register for any of them.
