NOVA Food for Thought Session: Zip Codes Matter

April 5, 2021 / Events

We can track inequality across America just by looking at our zip codes. How could this be? Why would zip codes matter? Well, it’s not zip codes per se, but what they represent – the place where you live. Access to education, services, jobs and transportation are all critically dependent on place.

The NOVA DEI Council is sponsoring a discussion series based on the Cornell podcast series “What Makes Us Human?” which focuses on issues that are heavily influenced by gender, race and economic inequalities.
