Vaccine Availability for College Employees in Fairfax Locations
Beginning April 5, Fairfax County opened vaccine registration to essential frontline workers in Group 1C. This group includes NOVA employees working within Fairfax County (Annandale, Springfield, Pender, Pitney Bowes).
Click here to register to receive your vaccinations.
We expect Fairfax to move into the rest of Phase 1C later this week and move into Phase 2 by April 18 in accordance with federal and state goals for the COVID-19 vaccination rollout. That means, as of Sunday, April 18, everyone in the Commonwealth who are 18+ years of age will be eligible for a vaccine.
Employees should be prepared to show some form of work-related identification or a paystub as the vaccine appointment could be offered by one of our vaccine partners that may require ID.
As a reminder, Fairfax County is not participating in the statewide registration system at this time. You should register for the vaccine on the Fairfax website, learn your vaccine registration status. If you previously registered on the statewide system, but you are a Fairfax County resident, please register with Fairfax County to ensure you are invited to schedule an appointment.
Additional information can be found here.
