April 15, 2021 / Tech Notes & Training

Did you know you can use speech-to-text to dictate in Google Docs?

Open a new document in Google Docs, then enable Voice Typing from the Tools menu and start dictating. Voice Typing recognizes commands like “comma,” “period” and “new paragraph” as well.

You will need to allow Google Docs access to your computer’s microphone and then just click the microphone icon and start speaking into your computer’s microphone.
