Day of Silence: Show Support for LGBTQ+ Community
The Day of Silence is a national, student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies take a vow of silence to protest the hurtful and harmful effects of harassment and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
This year, the Day of Silence will be held on Friday, April 23.
In honor of the Day of Silence, this week we invite NOVA students, faculty and staff to share positive messages of support and encouragement for the LGBTQ+ community via this Thought Exchange.
On Friday, April 23, the results of the Thought Exchange will be shared with the college community.
