Kanopy Streaming Videos Available for 2021-2022

Kanopy is a video streaming platform that offers access to individually licensed titles to all NOVA students, staff, and faculty. Only video titles requested by faculty can be licensed, and only those licensed titles are available to stream. Now is the time to review the titles you may need for your instruction for the next academic year. Depending on the title, licenses are valid for 1-3 years from the date of acquisition.

If you wish to renew a title that has not yet expired, NOVA Faculty can request a renewal by submitting a (Kanopy Title Renewal form). If a title has already expired or is not yet licensed for use by NOVA, Kanopy requests can also be submitted through the Kanopy platform. To request a title from the Kanopy platform, go to the platform through the (Database AtoZ page), find the title that you wish to request and fill out the form with the appropriate information. Due to budget limitations, only titles required for classroom instruction are being fulfilled at this time.
