Showing Support for LGBTQ+ Community With a Day of Silence
The Day of Silence is a national, student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies take a vow of silence to protest the hurtful and harmful effects of harassment and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.
This year, the Day of Silence will be held on Friday, April 23.
In honor of the Day of Silence, this week we invited NOVA students, faculty and staff to share positive messages of support and encouragement for the LGBTQ+ community via a Thought Exchange. Here are the results of the Thought Exchange. Read and be uplifted.
Thank you for your participation.
