Summer Training Schedule Available for Hybrid and Online Teaching

If you are going to teach your first hybrid course at NOVA (on-campus and online or synchronous and asynchronous format), or if you’d like to update your skills in teaching online courses through NOVA Online, we have good news for you! Our summer schedule is available and the first Hybrid Certification Course will start on May 17.

• Hybrid Certification Course, May 17 – June 13
• Hybrid Certification Course, July 6 – August 1
• Effectively Facilitating Online Discussions, June 28 – July 4
• Providing Quality Feedback for Online Learners, August 2 – August 8

All courses and workshops are offered online asynchronously via Canvas. While faculty participants are not required to attend any in-person or live meetings, synchronous help sessions via Zoom are regularly offered for those who may need help throughout a course.

Registration is available at http://nvcc.gosignmeup.com/. You can easily locate the courses and workshops by selecting Hybrid Teaching or Online Teaching on the left menu of the home page.
