Virtual SACNAS Community College Day, This Friday and Sat.

The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) Community College Day is a free, virtual conference for all interested students to discover degrees and careers in STEM. The two-day event will be held April 30 through May 1 and will include motivational talks and panels, interactive workshops, student presentations and networking opportunities. Participants will walk away with:

  • skills they can put into practice
  • resources for additional learning, new techniques, self-discovery and creating a roadmap for their career
  • a supportive network of peers and professionals and more

The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (sacnas.org) is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers and positions of leadership in STEM.
