Today! Join Us for Fulbright Specialist Info Session

April 29, 2021 / Events

In celebration of Community College Month and the 75th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program, the Fulbright Specialist Program is highlighting the contributions of outstanding alumni who exemplify the Fulbright Program’s mission of developing mutual understanding between the United States and partner nations, sharing knowledge across communities and improving lives around the world.

We invite established faculty and professionals from U.S. community colleges and two-year institutions to a special virtual information session about the Fulbright Specialist Program on today, April 29 at 1 p.m. A program of the U.S. Department of State, the Fulbright Specialist Program is a unique opportunity for U.S. academics and established professionals to engage in two- to six-week, project-based exchanges at institutions across the globe.

This information session will include an overview of the program and topics such as:

  • Eligibility requirements;
  • Benefits for participating Specialists and
  • Application processes and deadlines.

You will also hear Fulbright Specialist Alumni Danixia Cuevas (Miami Dade College) and Jonathon Little (Monroe Community College) discuss their experiences in India and Kazakhstan and how a Fulbright Specialist award has led to more opportunities to collaborate internationally and internationalize their U.S. campuses.
