Final Day! Fairfax Co. Health Dept. Vaccine Clinic Available for All Faculty, Staff at Ernst Center
Dear NOVA Community, As you know, NOVA is supporting the Fairfax County Health Department by providing space at the Ernst Center on our Annandale Campus for a Medspack vaccination clinic that is administering the Pfizer vaccine.
Today is the final day for Faculty and Staff who wish to be vaccinated to take advantage of this opportunity. You may do so from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. without an appointment. You may attend the vaccine clinic during your work hours simply by obtaining prior approval from your supervisor. You do not need to take leave time.
The clinic will offer walk-up service to NOVA employees seeking their first COVID shot. Where you live does not matter: you simply need to present evidence that you work at NOVA. Upon entering the facility, you will need to present your NOVA ID (or recent pay stub) and a state-issued ID. For your second dose, you will need to register online at MedsPack.
After April 30, Fairfax County will continue to administer vaccine doses at the Ernst Center, but registration and appointments will be required.
I strongly encourage each of you to become vaccinated against COVID-19 and ask that you consider this unique and convenient opportunity to help our community beat this virus. It’s time to #VaxUpNOVA!
Thank you to our partners in Fairfax County for this important collaboration!
Sincerely,
Anne
