NOVA Seeks Interim Director of Accommodations and Access

NOVA congratulates Dr. Joan Ehrlich on her retirement and her 12 years of service to the college. During this transition, NOVA is seeking an Interim Director of Accommodations and Access from approximately May 10, 2021 through September 2021. 

The Interim Director of Accommodations and Access has the responsibility for ensuring the highest quality of services are provided to students in order to ensure holistic support for students with disabilities. The interim director will work collaboratively with Academic Affairs and Student Affairs and will lead the charge to increase visibility, sensitivity and inclusivity of students with differing abilities in the NOVA community. The interim director must hold a master’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution in a related field and have at least three years of progressive administrative responsibility, including personnel supervision and budget management.

NOVA employees who meet these qualifications, understand the requirements and wish to be considered for the role of Interim Director of Accommodations and Access should submit a one-page letter of interest to Jackie Artis (jartis@nvcc.edu) in the office of the Vice President of Student Services no later than 12 p.m., Monday, May 3. Please include in the subject line, “Interim Director of Accommodations & Access.” The interim director will be selected by the VP of Student Services from the pool of qualified individuals expressing interest.
